New Spore patch on the way... - Thu, 13 Nov 2008A new Spore patch will be on the way shortly, and along with a heap of updates, it'll also give us 24 brand new limbs completely free!
Until the patch is released, head over to the gallery to see some high quality renders of creatures with the new limbs. -
Spore Flora Editor - Sun, 02 Nov 2008Though not much news is posted regarding Spore's gameplay itself, I thought it would be good to let everyone unaware of this neat little trick know about it.
Through a little editing of files, it's possible to access the flora editor in-game, something many Spore fans were dissapointed was not included when the game was released. Find the instructions over at Sporedum here.

Note: The editor is very buggy as it is currently not meant for use by players. -
EA Officially Announces Two Spore Expansions - Tue, 14 Oct 2008EA has announced two Spore expansion packs in the works; the Creepy & Cute Parts Pack and an unnamed Space Stage expansion pack. The first will add over 100 new parts to the creature editor whilst the second will deepen the gameplay of the Space stage.

Spore's First Expansion Pack?! - Sun, 05 Oct 2008Well it's been a while since the last update. Everyone's been playing Spore, though I should apologise for not updating the site with some recently released articles; I have just moved to university so time is short for me at the moment.
Nevertheless the news returns with a bang, as earlier today GameSpot posted a short news post stating that a Spore expansion/content pack may be on it's way soon. GameStop briefly listed "Cute & Creepy Parts Pack" for Spore on the site before pulling the product.

Spore Released! - Sun, 07 Sep 2008After over three and a half years of waiting, Spore is now available all over the world. It's been a great journey, filled with delays, but in the end it's been worth it.
Those of you who have the game, be sure to check out the forums and check out some of the new and modified areas to post up your creations, stories and ideas. There'll also be some Spore guides posted up on the site in the coming weeks/months.
Now...onto expansion packs!
